Suggest a BOW (Becoming An Outdoorswoman)program for one of Coyote Fifty's events. It's a fun, 2-3 day experience described in detail in today's (9/14) edition of the Arizona Republic, Section E, Arizona Living, Explore Arizona section.I've never heard of it before, but I'm ready to sign up. It's for women of all ages, a program that "teaches outdoor skills in a non-threatening environment",sure to also encourage female bonding and a good time. Sounds perfect for Coyote Fifty, something unique, a chance to learn new skills and overcome fears. No outdoor experience is necessary. Let's pack some Margaritas and head for the great Arizona outdoors.

I found this website after reading the story in Arizona Republic. I have been looking for a group like this for years! I am hoping you will have some events in the early evening hours or weekends for those of us working 9-5 (or 6 in my case). I will be checking back soon. This is great!

Hi Sheila, We're having our next Meet and Greet at the Yard House Restaurant in Glendale on October 13th. I'm sorry that you and your friend won't be able to join us. It looks as if our Meet and Greet will become a permanent get together during the Arizona Coyotes Hockey Season, before all Saturday night home games!! A great time was had by all at our first Meet and Greet, on September 17th. We'll be having a formal meeting the first of November, our number one priority will be to organize a couple of charitable events for the Holiday Season. We'll be posting the date and location of our meeting on our website and look forward to meeting you there. Kathy and Christie.

As time goes on I'm sure I will be able to say with great pride that I attended the very first Arizona Coyote Fifty meeting at West Gate. Kathy said she expected 5 people and she got 25. Imagine what the future holds! There seemed to be an instant bonding with those who attended and great fun was had by all. Everyone expressed a desire to serve their communities, but I couldn't help but notice a genuine desire to serve each other as well. It was an uplifting experience. I look forward to spending more time with this group, both in service and in fun. Not long ago fifty sounded like a permanent sentence to a rocking chair - now its a rally cry. With a yip yip aaawoooo on the end!
Thanks Kathy and Christie - you saw what
the women of our generation needed and you did something about it!

Hi Christie (& Kathy) - I am very impressed by your idea(s) and energy and fortitude to follow through. Especially becoming a flight attendant at this point in life. Do you have any events planned closer to home (Longview)? I am over 50, but still working and probably not able to travel too much at this point. You are absolutely right on - there is really no organized group for anyone my age (54) to join that I am interested in. Maybe this is it? I don't think I have ever met you - but you do look familiar. I have lived in Rainier/Clatskanie all my life, and shopped in Longview for the same. Never went to Magnum Opus that I remember (maybe I am old!). Have gone to Joan (Anderson) Gabrielson for years. If she worked there, I've been there

Hi Christie and Kathy! Have I mentioned how proud I am of you both!!
I am looking forward to the involvement that Coyote Fifty will take in the Habitat for Humanity house built by "all women" in Longview, WA. I found this quote that I think is soooo appropriate...

Hey Christie and Kathy,
I wanted to "thank you" both for the great time I had at the January meeting. I have been trying to get to a meeting for a couple of months and decided that no matter what I was going to make this meeting. Thanks to Mary also for opening her home up to all of us. This group is exactly what I was looking for. It was so nice to meet all the enthusiastic happy women. I know for me, moving and leaving all my very close friends behind was so difficult. Attending this group meeting and getting to know all the fun women is just what I was looking for. I love that the group couples fun with giving back to the community. I look forward to my new future with this awesome group. Loved the game we played also. Sorry I was so hard on the game devise!! Great idea for everyone to take a turn in organizing a meet. I can tell we have some very creative women in the group. Thanks for giving all of us "Over Fifty" an outlet for fun and community!!!

LIFE WITHOUT THE COYOTES AND TOM!
Today seems ordinary, and there is a pleasantness about that I suppose. But last week I spent rehearsing for the Super Bowl show with 32 other Coyotes, each one beautiful, vibrant, and ready to rock in her own way. I got rained on and laughed about it, lost and found several times. (Thanks Millie for taking such good care of me.)I sang, I danced, I ran, (boy did I run) and got to know a little more in depth the women who make up Coyote Fifty. I count myself lucky and proud to be called a Coyote - or as we were called by some "The Party Group" or "Coyote Women" Yes, we had a grand time in spite of the weather and the lack of flushies and for me personally the lack of PEPSI. But what we lacked was made up for, through the kindness and spirit of our group and
OH YEAH! TOM PETTY!
I miss you Coyotes, see you soon, keep rockin'.
